Dental Implants
An implant is a replacement for a natural tooth root. Dental implantation is the most advanced solution for restoring lost teeth. Implants can be used to restore a single tooth, several teeth, most of the teeth, or all of the teeth.
What makes a person happy? Perhaps happiness can be… implanted? Sometimes a small piece of titanium can bring back a smile and boost self-confidence. That is exactly what dental implant technology can offer.
When are dental implants needed?
Most people value natural beauty, which is why we take good care of our teeth. However, sometimes it is impossible to save a tooth, and it must be extracted. In such cases, we want to restore our smile quickly, with high quality, and for the long term. An implant is a replacement for the natural tooth root, resembling a tiny screw. When restoring a lost tooth, the implant is screwed into the jawbone. A dental crown is then attached to it.

Traditional implantation
The implant is placed only after the jawbone has healed. Once it has healed, a permanent dental crown is attached.
If you want to restore several teeth
2 implants – 3 teeth
Effective fixation of the denture using two implant abutments. Generally, it is not necessary to place as many implants as there are missing teeth. The number of implants depends on the distribution of the missing teeth.
If you want to restore all your teeth
4 implants
At least 4 implants are required to restore permanent teeth. The permanent denture is attached to them.
6–8 implants
Four implants are not always sufficient for jaw reconstruction; in such cases, the teeth are supported by 6–8 implants. This method allows for a perfect replication of the characteristics of natural teeth.
The Implantation Procedure
During the consultation, the dentist examines the patient and determines which treatment method is appropriate. The advantages and disadvantages of various tooth restoration methods are discussed. This is followed by preparatory work: if necessary, the tooth is extracted. If a tooth has been missing for a long time, the jawbone may gradually deteriorate. In such cases, the bone must be restored. If the patient wishes, we attach temporary dentures to the implants that have already been placed. It takes 2–6 months for the implant to fully integrate into the jawbone. Thorough oral hygiene is particularly important during the healing period. Poor oral hygiene, neglect, and smoking can lead to implant rejection.

Can we wait?
More and more patients are opting for dental implants. However, many are hesitant. Perhaps teeth are just a minor part of a person’s health? That’s not true: losing even a single tooth can lead to a host of health problems. Behind one problem lie even more serious ones: the jawbone recedes, and teeth may shift into the empty space. This often even distorts facial features! In addition, chewing becomes more difficult, and digestive problems arise.
All of these issues can have far-reaching consequences: the patient’s psychological well-being deteriorates, and the quality of their social and personal life suffers.
Is it safe?
Modern implants are made from biocompatible materials, so your body will accept them without any adverse reactions. The reliability of dental implants is proven by countless satisfied patients around the world. The procedure is performed under anesthesia, so you won’t feel any pain.
Don’t delay in restoring your lost smile—don’t wait until one problem leads to a whole host of new health issues.
